Eyewear

Eye size by eye size, the optician’s order is sent before the visit ends.

Rounds of independent opticians, a stand at MIDO or Silmo, reorders of frames that have sold: every model with its eye sizes, colours and lens type, every optician with their prices and order history, on tablet or mobile.

An eyewear brand’s trade show stand: optical and sun frames lined up on the wall, a tray of frames on the counter.

What gets in the way today, and what ALTORE changes

52□18 or 54□18? On the paper order form, nobody can tell any more.

One model in three eye sizes and five frame colours means fifteen possible lines. On paper they get mixed up and the optician receives the wrong size. In ALTORE, the rep fills in a colour × eye size grid showing the image of each colourway, even with no signal in the shop.

One frame sold, one frame to replace.

Between two visits from the rep, the optician wants to put the model that sold yesterday back in the window without waiting for the next visit. On their portal, they find their prices, reorder by the single unit and track their order. Opticians who have stopped ordering get a follow-up.

Independents, chains, importers: three price lists.

Each has its own prices, minimums and terms. ALTORE automatically applies those of the customer the rep is with. A discount outside the price list goes through your approval, and the rep’s commissions are calculated.

A typical order

An independent optician in Nantes, visited by your rep, is redoing their display. The rep applies your standard 24-frame display assortment, swaps two colours already in the window and picks eye sizes 50 and 52. The account’s prices apply, and the order form with images goes out by email before the rep leaves the shop.

The season, step by step

  1. Trade shows: opti, MIDO, Silmo, with the full collection on tablet.
  2. Rounds: orders and display assortments taken at the optician’s, even offline.
  3. Approval: minimums, deposits and discounts checked, order form sent to the optician.
  4. Production and replenishment: quantities by model, colour and eye size sent to the factory and the ERP, single-unit reorders from the portal.

Frequently asked questions

The sample case only holds part of the collection: how do we show the rest?

The full collection is on the tablet, with a full-screen product page for each model and every colourway pictured.

Our reps have no signal at some opticians: is that a problem?

No. The order is taken as usual and syncs when the connection comes back.

Can we build a complete display assortment in one go?

Yes, with standard assortments that the rep adjusts at the optician’s.
